Thursday 1:27 p.m. — Police assisted the Department of Human Services in locating a wanted suspect in the Ashland area.

Thursday 1:29 p.m. — Police investigated a Department of Human Services cross report of child neglect in the 500 block of Clay Street.

Thursday 1:39 p.m. — Police arrested a woman for shoplifting from Sister Moon in the 200 block of East Main Street.

Thursday 2:29 p.m. — Police received a referral from the Department of Human Services on a possible child abuse call at an East Main Street residence. Officers looked into the report and found no evidence of criminal activity.

Thursday 3:29 p.m. — Police received a referral from the Department of Human Services on possible child abuse in the 300 block of Walker Avenue. Officers looked into the report and found no evidence of criminal activity.

Thursday 7:40 p.m. — Police arrested a 19-year-old woman for theft after she was caught shoplifting at Market of Choice. She was cited and released.

Thursday 7:57 p.m. — Police received a report of a suicidal man in the 100 block of Lincoln Street. He was later located and transported to the psychiatric care unit at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

Friday 1:40 a.m. — Police responded to a single vehicle motor vehicle crash on North Mountain and B streets. The driver, the only occupant in the vehicle, was transported to Ashland Community Hospital with minor injuries after she hit an unoccupied parked vehicle, and the 18-year-old woman was cited for driving with a suspended license.
