Police arrested a 27-year-old woman for burglary after she walked into a house and stole $2,500 in the 600 block of Normal Street

Tuesday 7:17 a.m. — An unknown person turned in a coin purse with contents found in the Ashland area. The owner will be notified by mail, and the item was stored in police lost and found.

Tuesday 11:44 a.m. — Police arrested a 55-year-old woman on a drug law violation in the 2200 block of Ashland Street.

Tuesday 5:00 p.m. — Police arrested a 27-year-old woman for burglary after she walked into a known person's house and stole $2,500 in the 600 block of Normal Street. She was lodged at Jackson County Jail for burglary, theft and interfering with a police officer. She was later charged with violating a restraining order in the 300 block of Patterson Street, and was lodged at Jackson County Jail.

Tuesday 4:23 p.m. — Police investigated a Department of Human Services cross report in the Ashland area.

Tuesday 7:20 p.m. — Police arrested a 28-year-old man on a detainer placed on him by his probation officer in the 700 block of Terra Avenue. He was lodged at Jackson County Jail.

Tuesday 11:18 p.m. — Police responded to a physical fight that occurred in front of 7-Eleven. A 23-year-old man and a 26-year-old man were two of the participants that remained on scene, and the two men were arrested for disorderly conduct. Police are doing a follow-up investigation to locate and arrest the remaining involved individuals.

Wednesday 2:28 a.m. — Police arrested a 24-year-old man and an 18-year-old man for trespassing at the Black Swan building in the 100 block of East Main streets. The two men were cited and released.

Tuesday 5:40 p.m. — AFR responded to an emergency medical services call in the 200 block of Talent Avenue.

Tuesday 6:30 p.m. — AFR responded to an emergency medical services call in the 100 block of Wightman Street.

Tuesday 10:22 p.m. — AFR responded to an emergency medical services call in the 600 block of A Street.
