Wednesday 7:57 a.m. — Police arrested a 56-year-old man after store security caught him shoplifting $7.27 in merchandise at Market of Choice. He was cited on the charge of theft III.

Wednesday 8:09 p.m. — Police received a report of a missing person in the area of Ashland Street and Walker Avenue. The person was later located.

Thursday 12:19 a.m. — A 44-year-old woman was involved in a single motor vehicle crash on East Main and California streets. The woman was found to be too impaired to operate a motor vehicle, and was transported to Jackson County Jail and was lodged at Jackson County Jail for driving under the influence of intoxicants — alcohol, and reckless driving.
