Police arrested a 40-year-old woman for driving under the influence of intoxicants during a traffic stop in the area of Wimer and High streets.

Wednesday 9:14 a.m. — A woman reported her car stolen in the 200 block of Hargadine Street. The vehicle is a black 2006 Ford Focus.

Wednesday 9:54 a.m. — A known person found a suitcase near the sidewalk in the 400 block of East Hersey Street. The item was stored in police lost and found, and the owner will be notified by mail.

Wednesday 10:56 a.m. — A woman was taken into protective custody and transported to Rogue Valley Medical Center after she showed an intent to harm herself in the 500 block of Indiana Street.

Wednesday 11:43 p.m. — Police stopped a vehicle being operated by a 33-year-old man after seeing it hit and drive onto a curb in the 400 block of North Main Street. The driver was found to be too impaired to operate a motor vehicle and was placed under arrest. The man was transported to detox at the Medford Moore Center where he was cited and released to their staff.

Thursday 2:13 a.m. — Police arrested a 40-year-old woman for driving under the influence of intoxicants during a traffic stop in the area of Wimer and High streets. She was transported to Ashland Police Department where she was cited and released.
