A man reported that unknown subjects entered his dorm room and stole approximately $200 in cash.

Friday 1:38 p.m. — A person was reported missing for the last three weeks, yet law enforcement data system records showed that he was contacted by law enforcement on Jan. 28. Police spoke to the owners of Evo's Coffee House, and both owners said they had seen the reported missing person on that date, and that the missing person appeared to be in good health.

Friday 1:44 p.m. — Police received a faxed cross report from the Department of Human Services alleging an occurrence of possible child abuse in the 1100 block of East Main Street. Police and the Department of Human Services were unable to determine the validity of the allegation and the agencies closed the case at the screening level.

Friday 7:33 p.m. — A man reported that unknown subjects entered his dorm room and stole approximately $200 in cash. The theft occurred between Thursday at 5:00 p.m. and Friday at 7:30 p.m. There is no additional suspect or lead information at this time.

Friday 10:29 p.m. — Police arrested a 24-year old man in the area of Hitt Road and Strawberry Lane after he was found to have a Jackson County warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Friday 11:01 p.m. — Two juveniles were cited and released for possession of alcohol by consumption in the 1100 block of Siskiyou Boulevard.

Friday 11:41 p.m. — Police arrested a 25-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants during a traffic stop for multiple violations in the area of B and Oak streets. He was transported to Ashland Police Department where he was cited and released.

Saturday 12:33 a.m. — Police contacted a 19-year-old man at a Southern Oregon University parking lot near 7-Eleven. The officer determined that the man had consumed alcohol. He was charged with minor in possession of alcohol by consumption and was cited and released.

Saturday 12:55 a.m. — Police arrested a 20-year-old man after he was found to be violating his parole by being intoxicated in the 400 block of University Way. In a related case, another 20-year-old man was arrested for providing false information to a police officer in the 400 block of University Way, and was lodged at Jackson County Jail.

Saturday 3:01 a.m. — Police arrested a 45-year-old man after he stopped his vehicle Coolidge Street near North Main Street. He was cited and released.

Saturday 10:50 a.m. — A vehicle was found running and unattended in front of a residence in the first block of North Main Street. The owner was later located and the keys were returned.

Saturday 1:50 p.m. — A male juvenile was caught stealing beef jerky from the Dollar Tree. He was referred to the juvenile department on a charge of theft in the third degree.

Saturday 6:18 p.m. — Police received a report from the Department of Human Services about incidents in the Ashland area.

Sunday 12:56 a.m. — Police arrested a 58-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants in the 1200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. The man was taken into custody and lodged at Jackson County Jail.

Sunday 7:48 p.m. — Police responded to a juvenile problem in the 400 block of Walker Avenue. After further investigation, police arrested the juvenile's mother for strangulation and harassment. The case is closed by arrest.

Sunday 8:18 p.m. — Police responded to a report of open containers and drinking in public in the first block of East Main Street. A known 40-year-old man was lodged at Jackson County Jail for offensive littering.
