Police responded to a report of assault between two juvenile suspects at Walker Elementary School in the 300 block of Walker Avenue.

Thursday 11:06 a.m. — Police received a report of suspicious activity in the Ashland area.

Thursday 12:05 p.m. — Police took an adult man into protective custody on a police hold in the 300 block of Beach Street. The man had previously been reported as missing, suicidal and homicidal by family members.

Thursday 2:41 p.m. — Police arrested a 44-year-old man in the area of California and East Main streets on a Jackson County warrant for probation violation on the original charge of possession of methamphetamine.

Thursday 7:54 p.m. — Police responded to a report of assault between two juvenile suspects at Walker Elementary School in the 300 block of Walker Avenue. The case is open and under investigation.

Friday 12:30 a.m. — Police arrested a 22-year-old man in the 100 block of East Main Street on the strength of two warrants for failure to appear in court on original cases of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged at Jackson County Jail.

Friday 3:03 a.m. — Police arrested a 28-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants during a traffic stop in the area of Fourth and C Streets. He was found to be too impaired to operate a motor vehicle and was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was transported to Ashland Police Department where he blew a .13% BAC and was cited and released.
