The Southern Oregon Univeristy women's basketball team wrapped up an undefeated preseason by knocking off Cal Maritime 73-63 Sunday at McNeal Pavilion.

Jacki Speer led the Raiders with 23 points, 15 rebounds, six blocks and four steals — her seventh double-double in eight games. Emily Brookins finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds and Krystal Smith also had a double-double with 12 points and 10 boards.
Brookins paced the Raiders in the first half, scoring 13 points to help the SOU survive a 23 percent shooting effort and lead 28-23 at the half.
In the second half, Speer took over, scoring 18 of her 23 points, as the Raiders shot 43 percent to take control of the game.
Southern Oregon again lived at the free throw line, making 24 of 36, while Cal Maritime made 6 of 10.
Taylor Himmelspach led Cal Maritime with 21 points.
