A juvenile male was found in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana in the 200 block of South Mountain Avenue.

Monday 9:45 a.m. — Police responded to a domestic disturbance at the corner of Clay and Ashland streets. Upon further investigation, a 38-year-old man was arrested for hit-and run after he hit a 42-year-old man with his vehicle, causing serious physical injury. The 42-year-old man was additionally cited and released for criminal mischief after he broke the rear window of the 38-year-old man's vehicle.

Monday 10:50 a.m. — A juvenile male was found in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana in the 200 block of South Mountain Avenue. He was cited into the juvenile department for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school.

Monday 3:59 p.m. — Police received a report of possible child neglect in the Ashland area. No evidence of criminal activity was found and the case is closed.

Monday 4:08 p.m. — A man reported a theft from his vehicle on Faith Avenue and Siskiyou Boulevard.

Monday 6:41 p.m. — An adult man was taken into police protective custody after he was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself on West Hersey and North Laurel streets.

Monday 10:13 p.m. — An adult man was transported to Rogue Valley Medical Center for a mental health evaluation in the first block of Nursery Street.
