Police arrived at Ashland Community Hospital to investigate a stabbing that occurred in the 200 block of Maple Street.

Friday 8:36 p.m. — A known person reported possible child abuse in the 800 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. There was insufficient evidence to substantiate whether or not a crime was committed, and the Department of Human Services was notified.

Friday 10:01 p.m. — Police arrested a 43-year-old man for trespassing and harassment after he intentionally entered a residence in the 800 block of North Main Street and physically harassed a man.

Friday 11:47 p.m. — A woman reported that a known 32-year-old man dumped trash into her dumpster in the 500 block of Fairview Street. Contact with the suspect is pending at this time.

Saturday 12:51 a.m. — Police arrested a male juvenile for possession of psilocybin after the juvenile was transported to Rogue Valley Medical Center by Ashland Fire & Rescue due to effects of the drug. The juvenile was cited and released to his parents at the hospital.

Saturday 12:36 a.m. — A known person was taken into protective custody and transported to Rogue Valley Medical Center after threatening suicide in the 200 block of Maple Street.

Saturday 3:43 p.m. — A man reported his firewood caddie stolen from his driveway in the 1600 block of Peachey Road sometime between Thursday, Oct. 8 and Tuesday, Oct. 13.

Saturday 8:27 p.m. — Police received a report of a missing person in the 300 block of Alta Avenue.

Saturday 10:20 p.m. — Police responded o a possible domestic violence call in the 100 block of Wightman Street.

Sunday 9:57 a.m. — Police cited a 42-year-old man for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana after he was found smoking it behind Evo's in the 300 block of East Main Street.

Sunday 12:17 p.m. — Police responded to a non-injury motor vehicle accident involving an automobile and a skateboard near the intersection of Tolman Creek Road and Ashland Street.

Sunday 12:44 p.m. — Police arrested a 52-year-old man for telephonic harassment and stalking after he made unwanted contact that put his wife in fear for her physical safety in the first block of Lincoln Street. A third party reported that the man had threatened to kill his wife and himself.

Sunday 2:12 p.m. — Police investigated a report of vandalism at a known downtown business in the first block of North Main Street. The case is currently under investigation.

Sunday 3:47 p.m. — Police took a man into protective custody after he was found to be a danger to himself and others in the near the intersection of Siskiyou Boulevard and Walker Avenue. He was transported to Rogue Valley Medical Center for treatment.

Sunday 9:58 p.m. — Police arrived at Ashland Community Hospital to investigate a stabbing that occurred in the 200 block of Maple Street. The case is under investigation.

Monday 2:27 a.m. — Police arrested a 53-year-old man and lodged him in jail for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants and possession of cocaine.
