Police cited a 19-year-old man for scattering rubbish after he threw a lit cigarette into the roadway while skateboarding in front of Ashland Community Hospital.

Thursday 11:34 a.m. — Police cited and released a 30-year-old woman for driving while suspended and without liability insurance after she was stopped for having expired registration tags on her vehicle near the intersection of Wightman and Quincy streets.

Thursday 2:07 p.m. — Police received a report of possible child abuse in the Ashland area. The case is under investigation.

Thursday 7:41 p.m. — Police cited a 19-year-old man for scattering rubbish after he threw a lit cigarette into the roadway while skateboarding in front of Ashland Community Hospital.

Thursday 8:40 p.m. — Police arrested a 49-year-old woman after she engaged in violent, tumultuous and threatening behavior on East Main Street near First Street. She then resisted the officer's attempts to place her into custody.

Thursday 8:58 p.m. — Two individuals were reported missing in the 1400 block of Oregon Street. They were later located.

Thursday 11:09 p.m. — A man was found passed out behind the Minute Market in the 300 block of North Main Street. The man was placed into protective custody and lodged at detox.

Thursday 7:59 p.m. — Rescuers responded to a medical emergency in the 900 block of Skylark Place.

Friday 2:51 a.m. — Rescuers responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Tolman Creek Road and Siskiyou Boulevard.
