Police arrested a 42-year-old man after he created a risk of public inconvenience, annoyance and alarm by engaging in tumultuous behavior and making unreasonable noise in the 100 block of Third Street.

Friday 8:02 a.m. — Sometime between the hours of 2:30 and 6:09 a.m., an elderly woman died of apparent natural causes in the Ashland area.

Friday 12:36 p.m. — Police received a report of a stolen bicycle in the 200 block of Mountain Avenue.

Friday 3:47 p.m. — Police arrested a 19-year-old man near the intersection of Clay Street and Siskiyou Boulevard on several out-of-county warrants, escape and resisting arrest.

Friday 8:51 p.m. — Police arrested a 53-year-old man in the 2300 block of Ashland Street after receiving reports of a reckless driver on Washington Street. Additional witnesses said the driver of the vehicle had fired several rounds near the corner of Washington and Jefferson streets. The man was located with a .22 caliber handgun in the 700 block of Washington Street. The gun was seized and the man was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless endangering, reckless driving and unlawful use of a firearm. He was later lodged at Jackson County Jail where he blew .13 BAC.

Friday 9:50 p.m. — A juvenile reported the theft of his moped from an Ashland High School parking lot. The vehicle was later recovered.

Friday 10:33 p.m. — Police arrested a 42-year-old man after he created a risk of public inconvenience, annoyance and alarm by engaging in tumultuous behavior and making unreasonable noise in the 100 block of Third Street.

Saturday 1:17 a.m. — Police assisted on a call out for a fatal motor vehicle collision in Medford.

Saturday 7:19 p.m. — Police arrested a 43-year-old man in the 1000 block of Henry Street on a police officer's probable cause for harassment after receiving reports that the man had attempted to prevent a witness in a domestic violence case from testifying.

Saturday 10:14 a.m. — Police assisted Department of Human Services Child Welfare in investigating a case of possible child abuse in the Ashland area. The case is under investigation.

Saturday 4:20 p.m. — Police received a report of harassment and stalking in the Ashland area.

Saturday 5:57 p.m. — Police arrested a 44-year-old woman for telephonic harassment in the 1500 block of Oregon Street after she intentionally called the phone of another woman after being warned not to do so.

Saturday 6:25 p.m. — An Ashland police officer performed a drug recognition evaluation on a woman arrested by Medford Police Department.

Saturday 10:30 p.m. — Police arrested a 30-year-old man for violating his probation in the 100 block of Fourth Street. He was lodged at Jackson County Jail.

Sunday 2:21 a.m. — Police cited an 18-year-old male for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption while on the plaza in the first block of N. Main Street. He was transported and lodged at the Moore Center in Medford.

Sunday 3:13 a.m. — Police transported an intoxicated adult in the first block of Fourth Street to detox.

Sunday 1:25 p.m. — Police received a report of a burglary in the first block of California Street.

Sunday 7:19 p.m. — Police took a person into protective custody in the 2300 block of Ashland Street. The person was lodged at Jackson County Mental Health for an evaluation.
