Oregon Cabaret Theatre is offering a paid internship to a young male actor who will understudy the lead role of Buddy in "Holiday Memories," based on Truman Capote's stories "A Thanksgiving Visitor" and "A Christmas Memory." The actor must look about 8 to 10 years old, be able to do a light Southern accent and have excellent memory and a good singing voice.

Oregon Cabaret Theatre is offering a paid internship to a young male actor who will understudy the lead role of Buddy in "Holiday Memories," based on Truman Capote's stories "A Thanksgiving Visitor" and "A Christmas Memory." The actor must look about 8 to 10 years old, be able to do a light Southern accent and have excellent memory and a good singing voice.

Performances will be Nov. 11 through Dec. 31. The actor will have guaranteed performances.

Auditions will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. Candidates should bring one or two prepared songs (Christmas songs or hymns are ideal). There will be no monologues, but candidates will be asked to read from the script.
