A woman returned from her vacation to discover that several juveniles had broken into her house and had a party in the 600 block of Spring Street

Friday 9:33 a.m. — A woman reported a prowler had been heard and a small light was observed near a tree in the front yard of her residence in the 700 block of Indiana Street at about 2:00 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 31. The prowler later fled, and the incident was not reported at the time.

Friday 10:16 a.m. — Police responded to a report of harassment in the 200 block of North First Street. Police cited and released a 30-year-old man for harassment and disorderly conduct.

Friday 9:24 p.m. — Albertson's reported the theft of approximately $200 in groceries.

Saturday 12:11 a.m. — Police arrested a 24-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants during a traffic stop in the intersection of Crater Lake Highway and Cardinal Avenue. The man was transported to the Moore Detox Center in Medford where he was cited, blew a .19 BAC and was lodged.

Saturday 1:57 a.m. — Police arrested a 21-year-old woman after she was stopped for failing to obey a traffic control device near the intersection of B and North Second streets. She was cited and released to a sober adult.

Saturday 2:30 a.m. — Police arrested a 23-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants during a traffic stop near East Fifth Street and North Central Avenue. He later blew a .06 BAC and refused a drug evaluation. The man was cited and released to a sober adult.

Saturday 1:45 p.m. — Police received a report of a restraining order violation in the first block of California Street. The case is currently under investigation.

Saturday 4:48 p.m. — Police received a confidential report of possible neglect in the Ashland area. The case was closed at the screening level.

Sunday 12:19 a.m. — Police cited a 19-year-old woman for using another person's license in the first block of North Main Street.

Sunday 1:48 a.m. — Police found a highly intoxicated man passed out on the sidewalk downtown in the first block of North Main Street. He was taken into protective custody and transported to the detox facility in Medford.

Sunday 8:52 a.m. — Police received four reports of a burglaries at businesses in the 200 block of A Street. The cases is currently under investigation. Additionally, police discovered that an unknown person attempted to break into Lela's Café in the 200 block of A Street.

Sunday 10:14 a.m. — Police cited a 78-year-old man for careless driving after he collided with a parked vehicle in the 100 block of Brooks Lane.

Sunday 2:07 p.m. — Police received a report of theft of a mountain bike in the first block of North Main Street. There are currently no suspects or leads.

Sunday 11:55 p.m. — Police stopped a 21-year-old found to be in possession of an Oregon Driver's License while his driving privileges were suspended during a traffic stop in the first block of North Main Street. He was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, and driving while suspended.

Sunday 11:55 p.m. — Police received a complaint that a 30-year-old woman damaged a person's windshield with a brick near the area of North Laurel and West Hersey streets. After further investigation, police found probable cause to believe that the woman committed the crime of criminal mischief in the second degree. She was also found to have a valid warrant for failure to comply on the original charge of trespassing through the Ashland Municipal Court. Due to some peripheral circumstances, she was cited and released.

Monday 4:38 a.m. — Police found an intoxicated male juvenile walking on C and Third streets. He was cited for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption and released to his mother.

Tuesday 11:55 a.m. — Police arrested a 26-year-old woman for theft after she was caught stealing things from Market of Choice.

Tuesday 2:12 p.m. — A woman returned from her vacation to discover that several juveniles had broken into her house and had a party in the 600 block of Spring Street. The juveniles ate her food, rummaged through her belongings, swam in her pool, slept in her beds and caused minor damage to the house. There are several unidentified suspects, and the case is currently under investigation.

Tuesday 10:34 a.m. — Police arrested a 47-year-old woman for disorderly conduct and harassment in the 800 block of North Main Street.
