A known man reportedly displayed a handgun that was concealed in the waistband of his pants in the first block of South Second Street.

Friday 2:28 a.m. — Police arrested a 22-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants and trespassing near the intersection of South Mountain Avenue and Emma Street. He was lodged at Jackson County Jail.

Friday 3:22 a.m. — Police were dispatched to an alarm at a business in the 1900 block of Ashland Street. Two 18-year-old men were found to have thrown a concrete brick into a glass door causing an estimated $200 in damages. One man was lodged at Jackson County Jail, one man was cited and released, and a third man has yet to be located.

Friday 7:58 a.m. — Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Tolman Creek Road. After further investigation, a man was issued with a stalking complaint.

Friday 1:08 p.m. — Police responded to a car versus bicycle collision at the intersection of Siskiyou Boulevard and Sherman Street. The bicyclist was treated by paramedics and released at the scene. The driver of the car was cited for failure to yield to a bicyclist in a bike lane.

Friday 3:53 p.m. — Police responded to the plaza for a report of a highly intoxicated juvenile. A known male juvenile was cited for minor in possession of alcohol and transported to Ashland Community Hospital by Ashland Fire & Rescue.

Friday 4:21 p.m. — Police investigated a report of possible elder abuse in the Ashland area.

Friday 4:58 p.m. — Police stopped a 47-year-old man on his bicycle after he was seen urinating in the Arco parking lot. The man was highly intoxicated and placed under arrest for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Friday 5:37 p.m. — Police transported an intoxicated individual to detox in the area of South Pioneer Street and the Lithia Park trail.

Friday 6:17 p.m. — A woman reported that her juvenile daughter was the victim of physical harassment at their residence in the 100 block of Nob Hill Street.

Friday 11:23 p.m. — Police investigated an alleged sexual assault in the Ashland area.

Friday 11:45 p.m. — A known man reportedly displayed a handgun that was concealed in the waistband of his pants in the first block of South Second Street. The case is currently under investigation.

Saturday 1:33 a.m. — Police arrested a 22-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants during a traffic stop for failing to obey a one-way designation near the intersection of North Main and Church streets. He was cited and released to a sober adult.

Saturday 4:35 p.m. — Police received a report of child abuse in the Ashland area. After reviewing the report from the department of human services, police found no evidence of criminal activity.

Saturday 11:35 p.m. — Police cited and released a 20-year-old man for unlawful use of mace after he sprayed another man with pepper spray during an altercation. Both parties admitted to being friends, but the victim chose to press criminal charges.

Saturday 11:39 p.m. — Police arrested a 23-year-old man for assault after he recklessly broke a window from the Hong Kong Bar. The glass fell from the third story business and struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian sustained lacerations to the forehead.

Sunday 4:16 a.m. — Police arrested a woman for driving under the influence of intoxicants near the intersection of C and Fifth streets. She was cited and released.

Sunday 7:13 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a residential burglary in the 300 block of Wimer Street. The case is under investigation.

Sunday 1:26 p.m. — Police received a confidential report of sexual harassment of a minor in the Ashland area.

Sunday 2:06 p.m. — Police arrested a 20-year-old man at the request of his probation officer. After being told he was under arrest, he fled on foot. He was caught and fought with the police and his probation officer. During the altercation, the police officer sustained minor injuries. The man was lodged at Jackson County Jail and charged with assaulting an officer, harassment, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and probation violation for possession of ecstasy. He was also cited for possession of marijuana.
