Caldera Tap House, 31 Water St., held its grand opening on Friday. The bar and restaurant is owned by Caldera Brewing Company, a 12-year-old Ashland company, and has replaced the Siskiyou Pub. The next Jefferson Grapevine event, a gathering of Southern Oregon businesspeople, investors and bankers, will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 16 at Edenvale Winery in Medford. The Southern Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Conference, an annual event, will be held on Oct. 21 and 22 at the Smullin Center in Medford. The conference will outline the latest workplace safety and health information. The event is hosted by Oregon's Occupational Safety and Health Division, a division of the Department of Consumer and Business Services. The conference costs $120 or $80 for one day.
