Police arrested a 24-year-old man for trespassing after he was found sleeping on the roof of a public restroom at 51 Winburn Way.

Thursday 9:02 a.m. — Police arrested a 24-year-old man for trespassing after he was found sleeping on the roof of a public restroom at 51 Winburn Way.

Thursday 2:09 p.m. — Police took a man into protective custody after determining he was too intoxicated to care for himself in the 2300 block of Ashland Street. He was transported to detox.

Thursday 3:19 p.m. — Police took a man into protective custody after determining he was too intoxicated to care for himself at Blue Bird Park near North Main and Water streets. He was transported to detox.

Thursday 6:41 p.m. — Police arrested an 18-year-old man and a female juvenile for assaulting a 26-year-old man in the 100 block of Oak Street. The male assailant was cited and released, the female juvenile was transported to Jackson County Juvenile Center, and the 26-year-old man was transported to Ashland Community Hospital by ambulance. The 26-year-old man was also cited for harassment and menacing.

Thursday 10:55 p.m. — Police arrested a 31-year-old man for assault after he subjected his girlfriend to offensive physical contact and intentionally caused physical injury to her in the 2300 block of Ashland Street. He was lodged at Jackson County Jail. The man's 20-year-old girlfriend was later found in violation of conditions of her probation. She was also arrested and lodged at Jackson County Jail.

Thursday 11:12 p.m. — Police investigated a hit-and-run in the parking lot of 2212 McCall Dr. The location of the suspect and victim is pending at this time.

Friday 12:28 a.m. — Police arrested a 21-year-old woman on three circuit court warrants. Two were for failure to appear in court on a harassment charge, and the third was for failing to appear in court on a charge of interfering with police. She was lodged at Jackson County Jail. Another male on the scene was cited for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.

Friday 1:19 a.m. — Police arrested a 22-year-old man and a 27-year-old man for disorderly conduct after engaging in violent and tumultuous behavior in the plaza while in the presence of a police officer.

Friday 1:19 a.m. — Police arrested a 31-year-old man in the plaza on a valid Jackson County Circuit Court warrant.

Friday 1:47 a.m. — Police arrested a 29-year-old man after he was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest. The warrant was issued by the City of Ashland for failure to comply on a charge of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He was lodged at Jackson County Jail.
