Unknown suspects vandalized a man's heat pump in the 900 block of Spring Way.

Wednesday 1:12 p.m. — Police arrested a 24-year-old man on two Jackson County felony warrants in the 1100 block of East Main Street.

Wednesday 1:16 p.m. — A juvenile was arrested for theft after she left Market of Choice without paying for something she ate in the store.

Wednesday 2:59 p.m. — Unknown suspects vandalized a man's heat pump in the 900 block of Spring Way. The heat pump was replaced, and there are no suspects or leads at this time.

Wednesday 11:13 p.m. — Police contacted a 21-year-old man for a noise complaint in the area of Nursery and Rock streets. Upon a records check, it was discovered that the man had two circuit court warrants for his arrest. He was lodged at Jackson County Jail.

Thursday 1:20 a.m. — A woman was taken into protective custody after she made attempts to harm herself in the Ashland area. She was transported to Rogue Valley Medical Center for a mental health evaluation.

Thursday 4:22 a.m. — A man and a woman reported seeing a man running from the back yard after they let their dog out in the 700 block of Indiana Street. The man was described as a white male adult of medium height and build wearing a light colored shirt.
