Man rapes wife, stabs stepson during rescue attempt
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) — A Klamath Falls man who sexually abused his wife and attempted to murder his teenage stepson has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
The Herald and News in Klamath Falls reported that 43-year-old Randall Ray Martino waived a jury trial and was convicted in April.
He was sentenced Friday for attempted murder, rape, unlawful sexual penetration, assault, criminal mistreatment and strangulation. Martino must also register as a sex offender.
Prosecutors said Martino raped his wife and stabbed his 14-year-old stepson when the boy attempted to rescue his mother.
