Police arrested a 28-year-old woman after she threw items into the roadway, entered an apartment without permission and ate the resident's mashed potatoes.
Thursday 2:41 p.m. — Police cited a known juvenile male for minor in possession of alcohol on North Main Street.
Thursday 3:59 p.m. — A woman reported her light blue Schwinn cruiser bicycle stolen from the bottom stairwell of her apartment complex on East Main Street.
Thursday 7:42 p.m. — A 39-year-old man was arrested on Ashland Street for an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court on a trespassing charge. He was lodged at Jackson County Jail. At jail, he was found to be in possession of marijuana and Valium, and additionally received two charges of supplying contraband and one charge of possession of Valium.
Thursday 8:43 p.m. — Police arrested a 28-year-old woman after she threw items into the roadway along Siskiyou Boulevard and caused a traffic hazard. She also entered an apartment without permission, refused to leave when asked and ate the resident's mashed potatoes. She was highly intoxicated and tried to pull away from officers and resisted entering the patrol car, and was lodged at Jackson County Jail on charges of disorderly conduct, trespassing, theft, resisting arrest and violating the no-alcohol clause of her probation.
Thursday 9:10 p.m. — Police received a report of an intoxicated juvenile on North Main and Laurel streets. The juvenile was cited for minor in possession of alcohol and was released to his parent.
Friday 4:15 a.m. — A man reported a theft from his vehicle while it was parked in his driveway on Indiana Street.
