Singer-songwriter James Taylor will perform at the Lithia Motors Amphitheater in Central Point in September, the Britt Festivals announced Friday.

In addition to Taylor, the concert series has added a performances by Latino act Los Tigres Del Norte in August, and it has canceled a show featuring featuring ABC, Berlin, Wang Chung, Heaven 17 and Cutting Crew in July.

Taylor will perform at the fairground amphitheater at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, and Los Tigres Del Norte will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7. Tickets to the James Taylor show are $42-$119 for adults, $32 for children. Tickets to Los Tigres Del Norte will be free for children and $33 to $53 for adults.

"We're thrilled to bring James Taylor, one of our most-requested acts, to the Rogue Valley," said Mike Sturgill, Britt's director of programming and production. "We're also excited to present a concert geared toward the Latino market for the first time."

James Taylor's songs include "Fire and Rain," "Country Road," "Something in The Way She Moves," "Mexico," "Shower The People," "Your Smiling Face," "Carolina In My Mind" and many more. Taylor has earned 40 gold, platinum and multi-platinum awards and five Grammy Awards.

Britt said it had to cancel the July show, dubbed the Regeneration Tour, because of scheduling conflicts among some of the performers.

Tickets for all Britt shows are now on sale to members only; they go on sale to the public on May 26.
