On a festive holiday rooted in Jewish unity, Southern Oregon's Jewish community will unite to present a community-wide celebration for all ages.

On a festive holiday rooted in Jewish unity, Southern Oregon's Jewish community will unite to present a community-wide celebration for all ages.

A combined project of the Chabad Jewish Center and Temple Emek Shalom, this year's free Lag B'Omer celebration will be held at Garfield Park on Sunday, May 10 from 4 to 6 p.m.

The event will feature a kids' talent show, a bingo game, a jump house, kite making, arts and crafts, face painting, sports, and a barbecue with hot dogs and burgers. Vegetarian is available upon request.
