A 17-year-old girl was found to be under the influence of alcohol while at Ashland High School.

Wednesday 9:12 a.m. — A 17-year-old girl was found to be under the influence of alcohol while at Ashland High School. She was cited and released to school authorities.

Wednesday 2:20 p.m. — Police assisted the City of Ashland in citing three Ashland businesses for failure to pay Ashland meal taxes.

Wednesday 4:00 p.m. — Police picked up two bags left by a transient in an alleyway near a business on Lithia Way. The packs had only garbage in them, and were stored in lost and found.

Thursday 12:33 a.m. — Police arrested a 27-year-old man for driving under the influence of alcohol after he was stopped for a traffic violation on Ashland Street and Faith Avenue. He was transported to the Moore Center in Medford where he blew a .14 BAC and was cited and released.
