The International Student Association presents its 37th annual International Week on the Southern Oregon University campus starting Monday.

The International Student Association presents its 37th annual International Week on the Southern Oregon University campus starting Monday.

Southern Oregon University will feature an international atmosphere at events held through Friday on campus. Many students have worked hard to present and share their respective culture from their home country with the community.

The week will be busy with workshops, international movie nights, a panel discussion and a soccer game. The celebration will culminate with the 37th International Show on Friday May 1. All events are free and open to the public.

Monday

International Parade and Food Fair

International Movie Nights

6 p.m. Meese Auditorium, Art Building

A different film will be presented each day:

Monday: "Persepolis" (France/Iran) A true story of a childhood coinciding with regime change and war in Iran.

Tuesday: "El violin" (Mexico) A captivating tale with a strong sense of social justice.

Wednesday: "The shower" (China) Shows values and unity of a Chinese family.

Thursday: "Rang De Basanti" (India) A story about the youth of India today.
