The organization added the acts to its 2009 lineup released last month. Rocker Sheryl Crow also will perform at the amphitheater in September, but the rest of the concerts are at the Britt Festivals grounds in Jacksonville.

Crosby, Stills & Nash will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, and Michael Franti & Spearhead, appearing with G. Love & Special Sauce, will perform at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11.

Tickets, on sale to members beginning today and to the public beginning May 26, will go for $34-$82 ($25 for children) for Crosby, Stills & Nash and $30-$40 ($20 for children) for Michael Franti & Spearhead.

Crosby, Stills & Nash are known for their three-part harmony and have recorded a long list of hits, including "Teach Your Children," "Guinnevere," "Marrakesh Express" and "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes."

Michael Franti & Spearhead offer a danceable swirl of hip-hop, funk, reggae and rock. Franti's lyrics address a wide range of socially and politically conscious issues.

Headliners range from blues legend Etta James to veteran New Wave rockers Blondie to former Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir and RatDog to rocker/composer Elvis Costello with the rootsy Sugarcanes, diva Natalie Cole and Portland's own Pink Martini.

Britt's classical season of eight shows runs from July 31 through Aug. 16.
