A business reported vandalism at North Main Street; a 'Free Tibet' flyer was applied to the wall with an epoxy.

Tuesday 3:48 a.m. — Police arrested a 19-year-old man and a 23-year-old man for entering two vehicles on Coolidge Street. Both men had warrants for their arrest, and the 23-year-old was additionally charged with providing false information to police. Later, they were arrested for two charges of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and theft, and were lodged at Jackson County Jail.

Tuesday 8:17 a.m. — Police investigated an unauthorized entry into two unlocked vehicles that occurred sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning on Grover Street. About $5 in change was stolen from the two vehicles' interiors.

Tuesday 8:20 a.m. — Police investigated an unauthorized entry into an unlocked vehicle on Walnut Street. The suspect rummaged through the console without taking anything.

Tuesday 8:40 a.m. — Police took a report of a hit-and-run on Wightman Street. A blue 2005 Dodge Neon had damage on the hood and grill while parked on the corner of Madrone and Indiana streets at some point between Thursday evening and Tuesday morning.

Tuesday 9:15 a.m. — A man reported that unknown suspects entered his open and unattached garage and entered his unlocked vehicle on Chestnut Street. His Blockbuster card, cell phone and $2 cash were reported stolen.

Tuesday 9:32 a.m. — A business reported vandalism at North Main Street. A "Free Tibet" flyer was applied to the wall with an epoxy.

Tuesday 10:09 a.m. — Police investigated a report of an unauthorized entry into a man's two vehicles on Prim Street. The thief rummaged through the consoles and glove compartments, and stole approximately $5 in change.

Tuesday 10:27 a.m. — Police investigated a report of an unauthorized entry into an unlocked vehicle on Tucker Street. Nothing was reported stolen.

Tuesday 10:39 a.m. — Police took a report of an unauthorized entry into an unlocked vehicle on Walnut Street. A cell phone and a mini tape recorder were reported stolen.

Tuesday 11:29 a.m. — Police arrested a 27-year-old woman for trespassing on Ashland Street. She was transported to Jackson County Jail.

Tuesday 12:26 p.m. — A woman reported her dog mat and towel stolen from her vehicle on Chestnut street.

Tuesday 3:03 p.m. — A man reported that someone entered his two unlocked vehicles on Chestnut Street. About $1 in change was reported missing.

Tuesday 3:11 p.m. — Police took a report of an unauthorized entry into an unlocked vehicle on Walnut Street. A pack of cigarettes and $41 cash was reported missing.

Tuesday 4:12 p.m. — Police cited and released a 45-year-old man for harassment while investigating a report of a domestic dispute on Ashland Street.

Tuesday 8:13 p.m. — A woman reported that someone unlawfully entered her vehicle. The case remains open.

Tuesday 11:58 p.m. — Police arrested a 47-year-old man for driving under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop on Ashland Street. His vehicle was impounded, and he was transported to Ashland Police Department where he blew a .21 BAC and was cited and released.

Wednesday 1:33 a.m. — Police arrested a 21-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants during a traffic stop on Highway 66. The man also had a warrant for his arrest charging failure to appear in court on a previous DUII, and was lodged at Jackson County Jail.

Wednesday 2:35 a.m. — Police investigated a hit-and-run on Ashland Street. A blue SUV hit a parked vehicle in the parking lot of 2510 Ashland St., and the SUV driver fled the scene.

Wednesday 7:47 a.m. — A person reported an unauthorized entry into an unlocked vehicle on Prim Street late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. Four debit cards were reported missing from the center console. Two suspects have been apprehended in this case.
