Police reports

Friday 1:35 a.m. — Police responded to a single vehicle accident on Mountain Avenue and Hersey Street. A vehicle had driven off the road and into the trees along the east side of Hersey Street and then drove through the wooden fence at the city substation. The vehicle was not located.

Friday 1:43 a.m. — A woman reported that someone entered her apartment on the 500 block of N. Main Street and stole jewelry.

Friday 10:57 a.m. — A woman reported that someone stole music equipment from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked near her residence on the 300 block of B Street.

Friday 1:50 p.m. — Between 6:30 p.m. Thursday and noon Friday, someone entered an unlocked vehicle on the 100 block of N. Pioneer Street and stole several items.

Friday 10:39 p.m. — A man was cited for open container on Oregon Street.

Friday 11:16 p.m. — A man was arrested on a Ashland Municipal Court warrant for disorderly conduct.

Saturday 2:43 a.m. — A man was arrested in the 1500 block of Siskiyou Boulevard for possession of a concealed weapon after he was found to have a 9-inch double-bladed dagger hidden under his clothing at the small of his back.

Saturday 2:45 p.m. — At 12:57 p.m. an officer was informed of numerous wallets found in the men's restroom near the playground in Lithia Park. An investigation determined that the wallets were taken from a residential burglary in the 600 block of B Street.

Saturday 4:02 p.m. — A domestic assault occurred in the lobby of the Super Eight hotel.

Saturday 6:35 p.m. — A known suicidal man was transported to Rogue Valley Medical Center on a voluntary basis.

Saturday 5:06 p.m. — A man was transported to Rogue Valley Medical Center after it was determined that he was a danger to himself.

Saturday 7:21 p.m. — A man reported that sometime between 2:30 and 5:45 p.m. someone stole his custom Marine recliner off his porch on the 700 block of Iowa Street.

Saturday 10:15 p.m. — Police assisted the Talent Police Department with an investigation.

Sunday 1:04 a.m. — Police cited a man for scattering rubbish after he was seen urinating in public near Will Dodge Way and Pioneer Street.

Sunday 2:30 a.m. — Police transported an intoxicated man to the detox center after he was found on Will Dodge Way and officers were unable to locate a sober adult to care for him.

Sunday 2:46 a.m. — The Pita Pit reported that two unknown people stole a poster and a chip display rack that was full of chips. The incident was caught on security cameras.

Sunday 6:38 p.m. — A man was arrested for DUII and criminal mischief and cited for careless driving on the 500 block of Oak Knoll Drive.

Monday 12:03 a.m. — Police stopped a man for traffic violations at the intersection of Water and B streets and arrested him for DUII.

Monday 2:38 a.m. — Police responded to the 100 block of Alida Street for a domestic disturbance.

Monday 2:54 a.m. — A man on the 100 block of Alida Street was arrested and lodged on charges of assault, strangulation, menacing, harassment and recklessly endangering.
