Police reports

Tuesday 9:42 a.m. — Police received a found disposable camera, passport and birth certificate.

Tuesday 10:38 a.m. — A woman reported her purse was stolen inside Kat Wok between 12 and 1:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Tuesday 10:59 a.m. — A man reported observing his bicycle being stolen at The Beanery. The bike was returned to him.

Tuesday 12:47 p.m. — A man reported vandalism to the RVTD bus stop at the intersection of Siskiyou Boulevard and Beach Street.

Tuesday 3:01 p.m. — Police cited a man for driving with a suspended license on Highway 99 near the north railroad tracks after he was stopped for a traffic violation. His vehicle was impounded.

Tuesday 8:28 p.m. — Police responded to a hit-and-run at the corner of Ashland and East Main streets. The unidentified suspect hit and damaged a yield sign while driving a semi-truck pulling two flat-bed trailers.

Wednesday 1:03 a.m. — 7-Eleven reported a man left the store with items in his possession that he had no intention of paying for.

Wednesday 1:05 a.m. — Police found a bicycle at the corner of Siskiyou Boulevard and Frances Lane.

Wednesday 2:11 a.m. — Police arrested a 24-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants after he was stopped for speeding, going 41 mph in a 20 mph zone, at the intersection of Wimer and North Main streets. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail. His blood alcohol level was 0.16 percent.

Wednesday 2:52 a.m. — Police arrested a 23-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants and refusing a breath test at the intersection of Siskiyou Boulevard and Beach Street.
