Friday 2:48 p.m. — Police cited a man for following a car too closely while driving, causing a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Ashland Street and Oak Knoll Drive.

Friday 9:23 p.m. — Police arrested a 33-year-old man for assault and harassment after he subjected a woman to unwanted physical contact and then struck her in the face, causing substantial pain. The incident occurred on the 200 block of Hersey Street.

Saturday 2:54 a.m. — Police arrested a 26-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless endangering and criminal mischief after investigating a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of North Mountain Avenue and Larkspur Lane.

Saturday 2:54 a.m. — Police arrested a 28-year-old man who was found to have a warrant for his arrest for failing to appear in court on criminal mischief charges.

Saturday 3:52 a.m. — Police arrested a 35-year-old man for assault and harassment in a domestic violence case on the 300 block of Clay Street. The man was lodged at the Jackson County Jail.

Saturday 1:37 p.m. — A man on the 200 block of Avery Street reported two of his neighbor's dogs at large. The man wished to sign a complaint against the dogs' owner.

Saturday 2:26 p.m. — Police picked up a found bicycle on the 400 block of Bridge Street.

Saturday 3:38 p.m. — Police cited a 33-year-old man for driving with a suspended license on the 2200 block of Ashland Street. His vehicle was impounded.

Saturday 4:01 p.m. — Police picked up a found bicycle on the 1000 block of Henry Street.

Saturday 9:19 p.m. — Police arrested a 23-year-old man for domestic strangulation, assault and harassment on the 700 block of Leonard Street. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail.

Sunday 2:04 a.m. — Police reported an unknown person threw two rocks through a window of the Southern Oregon University Campus Public Safety office on the 300 block of Wightman Street.

Sunday 2:52 a.m. — Police arrested a 22-year-old woman for driving under the influence of intoxicants at the intersection of C and Fifth streets.

Sunday 7:24 a.m. — Police cited a 49-year-old man for trespassing after he was found sleeping in the recycling center on Winburn Way.

Sunday 8:43 a.m. — A woman reported the front driver's side window of her vehicle was smashed and a backpack containing clothing, a digital camera and prescription medications stolen from the vehicle parked on the 700 block of North Main Street.

Sunday 2:30 p.m. — A woman reported a digital camera and messenger bag were stolen from her vehicle parked on the 600 block of Liberty Street between 7 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

Sunday 9:53 p.m. — Police responded to a fight at the Oak Tree Bar and arrested a 26-year-old man for disorderly conduct, harassment and criminal mischief.
