Wednesday 8 a.m. — A boy flagged down police near Walker Elementary to report that an unidentified transient man chased after him and his sister while they were walking to school on the bike path near the cemetery.

Wednesday 9:09 a.m. — A woman reported the theft of cash and prescription medication from her unlocked vehicle overnight while it was parked on the 1300 block of Romeo Drive.

Wednesday 9:54 a.m. — A woman reported the theft of a laptop computer from her business on the 1600 block of Ashland Street.

Wednesday 11:41 a.m. — A man reported being the victim of an Internet scam. An unknown suspect stole approximately $2,700 and caused the victim $3,400 in losses after fees and charges.

Wednesday 1:21 p.m. — A resident reported a found mountain bike in a backyard on the 300 block of Hemlock Lane.

Wednesday 2:16 p.m. — Police cited a man for a dangerous left turn after he caused a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of North Main and Maple streets.

Wednesday 6:09 p.m. — Police reported graffiti sprayed on the south wall of the heat building at Southern Oregon University. A can of spray paint in the same color was located nearby.

Wednesday 10:52 p.m. — Police took a highly intoxicated man into custody after he was ejected from Omar's. He was released to the Rogue Valley Medical Center.

Wednesday 10:55 p.m. — Police arrested a 26-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants after he was stopped for traffic violations at the intersection of Hersey and Carol streets.

Thursday 1:30 a.m. — Police cited a woman for driving while suspended on Ashland Street near Faith Avenue.
