Southern Oregon University volleyball players Mia Wortel and Lindsey Stone were honored on Monday by the Cascade Conference as this week's player and setter of the week, respectively.

The duo helped the Raiders sweep conference matches at 17th-ranked Oregon Tech and Northwest Christian.

Wortel averaged 3.67 kills per set and 1.5 blocks in the two wins. The All-American also finished the week with a .514 attack percentage.

Wortel also became just the seventh Raider to go over 1,000 kills in a career during the Northwest Christian match.

Stone was named the setter of the week for the third straight week.

The junior All-American averaged 12.5 assists per set and also had 15 digs.

The Raiders travel to Warner Pacific on Friday and Cascade College on Saturday.

SOU is 9-7 overall on the season and 7-1 in Cascade Conference play.
