Ashland police are looking for a man in his 50s or 60s who robbed Rogue Federal Credit Union on Lithia Way this morning.

The man fled the bank on foot along Lithia Way with an undisclosed amount of cash after the robbery, which happened at about 11:15 a.m. Police would not say whether he was armed.

The man was described as white and at least 6 feet tall and had a "weather-beaten face" according Sgt. Jim Alderman of the Ashland Police Department.

The man was in his 50s or 60s and wore a blue sweatshirt, tennis shoes and a polka-dot red bandanna on his head, police say. The bank is closed, and police are talking with witnesses.
