Sometime between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, someone stole about 121 cans of Sobe brand energy drink and an unknown amount of money (coins) from an unsecured Pepsi vending machine at 345 Lithia Way.

A blue and silver Motorola cell phone was found in the Skate Park. A message was left at the "home" number in the phone book located in the cell phone.

A vehicle was stopped for traffic violations. The driver was found to have his driving privileges criminally suspended. He was cited and released. The vehicle was impounded.
Wednesday, 2:19 a.m. &
Between 2:19 a.m. and 3:36 a.m. Police received to separate reports of unnecessary noise coming from the 1300 block of Quincy Street. The apartment was occupied but the occupant refused to open the door for police. At 10:04 p.m. Officers returned to the residence and cited the occupant for unnecessary noise.

Police contacted a man waling on South Mountain Avenue near Iowa Street. It was determined that he had a warrant for his arrest out of Lane County, Oregon. The warrant was confirmed and he was placed under arrest. He was transported to Jackson County Jail.
Wednesday, 9 a.m. &
Officers responded to the report of a deceased male. It appeared that the man died of natural causes.
Wednesday, 1:24 p.m. &
Police responded to the report of a disorderly male. After speaking with witnesses it was determined that a man shook his two-year-old grandson causing no physical injury. He was arrested on charges of Reckless Endangering, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct. He was lodged at Jackson County Jail.

A woman reported a hit and run to her vehicle that occurred between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the YMCA parking lot.
Wednesday, 5:18 p.m. &
A man reported the theft of his credit card. The case is under investigation.
Wednesday, 11:30 p.m. &
A vehicle was stopped for traffic violations. The driver was found to have their driving privileges suspended. She was cited and her vehicle was impounded.
