Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 700 block of Helman Street. It was determined that the disturbance was verbal, but a concern arose regarding the parents' ability to care for their infant child.

A man was cited for unnecessary noise. Music and loud voices could be heard from the party several houses away from the location of the party in the 100 block of Morton Street.

Ashland Greenhouse reported that someone had stole an extension cord valued at $200 from its premises.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance occurring on Indiana Street. After investigating, a man was arrested for harassment and strangulation. A woman was cited and released on the same charges.
Saturday, 3:30 a.m. &
Officers responded to the report of a person being shot in the head with a BB gun, causing physical injury. At 5:05 a.m. the suspect was located, charged with unlawful use of a weapon, assault III, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was taken into custody and transported to Jackson County Jail.

A man was arrested on four counts of theft II after being found in possession of four stolen Oregon vehicle registration tags.

A man was charged with possession of psilocybin while in the area of the Plaza downtown Ashland. He was cited and released.

A woman reported that about a quarter tank of gasoline was siphoned from her vehicle while it was parked near Lithia Park across from Pioneer Hall on Winburn Way.

Sometime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. someone stole a woman's solid oak desk from the driveway of her residence on Scenic Drive.

During a routine stop for a traffic violation, officers smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver was cited for unlawful possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. The drugs were seized and logged into evidence.

Officers responded to the report of a theft at the Pita Pit. The manager said that someone removed their wooden sign valued at $300 from the front of the restaurant.

A mountain bike was reported stolen in the 100 block of East Main Street.
Friday, 4:47 a.m. &
A man unlawfully entered into the residence of a woman while she was sleeping and passed out in her roommate's bedroom. The man was contacted and placed under arrest. He was also found to be in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He was transported to Jackson County Jail and lodged.
