Ashland resident Sean Lawlor Nelson has self-published a book of poems and essays.

"Weird Voyage Loveward" follows the author's story, which begins in his senior year of college at Southern Oregon University. He pursues a coporate job before traveling to Thailand, returning half-crippled and pyschologically damaged.

Nelson grew up in Klamath Falls, where he freelanced for the local newspaper and played varsity tennis. He studied in Sweden as an exchange student and graduated from Southern Oregon University with a bachelor's degree in English and Literature.

Nelson has previously published "An Ode to Id" and "HappenStanzas."
