A man was arrested for DUII after being involved in a motor vehicle collision. He provided a breath sample. His blood alcohol content was 0.19 percent.




Tuesday, 12:46 a.m. &

An adult male was arrested after he was found to have a warrant issued by the City of Ashland for contempt of court for a minor in possession of alcohol charge. He was also cited for minor in possession of alcohol.

A female was cited and released charging minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.




Monday, 10:09 p.m. &

A woman, whose driving privileges were criminally suspended, crashed a blue Honda SUV into a parked car near the intersection of Mill Pond Road and Romeo Drive, causing damage in excess of $100. The woman displayed signs of intoxication. She was medically cleared at Ashland Community Hospital. She also refused a blood test. While she was at the hospital, she spit on the wall in her room. She also spit on the floor of the jail's sally port. During intake, the woman spit on a sergeant's uniform pant leg. The bottle of tequila the police found in the woman's vehicle was emptied and placed in evidence. The woman was charged with DUII-alcohol, reckless driving, two counts of criminal mischief, harassment and driving while suspended &

misdemeanor.




Monday, 8:45 p.m. &

An injury motor vehicle collision occurred in the 400 block of Scenic Drive. The driver of a vehicle lost control as it was backing out of a driveway. The vehicle hit a parked car before entering a yard and hitting a tree. The driver stated that the vehicle's accelerator stuck and she was unable to stop the vehicle.

A woman was arrested for domestic assault. She struck her husband twice on the left side of the face with a closed fist, leaving a visible injury.

A wallet was found at the Ashland Public Library.




Monday, 3:42 p.m. &

An adult female was arrested for theft after she left Market of Choice with items that she had no intention of paying for.




Monday, 12:42 p.m. &

Someone turned in a found checkbook to Ashland Police.




Monday, 9:02 a.m. &

Between the hours of 8:30 p.m Saturday and 7:49 a.m. Monday, someone applied graffiti (black spray paint) in the foyer area of the Ashland Outdoor Store.




Monday, 5:07 a.m. &

A driver drove his vehicle off the roadway and crashed into several cars parked in the driveway of a residence in the 200 block of Dead Indian Memorial Road. The driver displayed signs of intoxication and admitted to having consumed alcohol. After the driver was medically cleared at Ashland Community Hospital, he submitted to a breath test. The final result of the breath test revealed a 0.19 percent blood alcohol content. The driver was cited for DUII &

alcohol, reckless driving and criminal mischief.
