The Kiwanis Club of Ashland recognizes Edwin Lee as the March Student of the Month. A senior from Ashland High School is honored each month during the school year.

Edwin is the son of Linda Lee and Harold Lee.

Preparing for his college career, Edwin has taken many high-level classes. His accumulative GPA is 3.30. In addition to his school activities, Edwin has been the advertising manager and advertising representative, each for one year, for the AHS Rogue newspaper.

He has been highly active in sports programs, including three years on the junior varsity football team, one year on varsity football, two years on the rugby team and two years on the ice hockey team (which won the conference championship this year).

While attending school, Edwin also worked as a teller at Rogue Federal Credit Union for two years and was the Rogue Federal Credit Union Grizzley branch manager for one year.

Edwin also loves to work in the auto and metal shops.

Following graduation from AHS, Edwin plans to major in pre-business administration at the University of Oregon.

The Student of the Month receives an award certificate and a $50 savings bond. During the month of May, two of the nine winners for the current school year will be further honored with the $1,000 Tommy Laird Kiwanis college scholarship.
