Someone stole 5 chairs, 2 tables, 4 lawn statues and a ceramic pot from the backyard of a residence on the 500 block of Fairview. The backyard of the residence is accessed via an alley that runs from Gresham to Union Street.

A man reported that someone stole items from his locker at the YMCA.




Wednesday, 2:30 p.m. &

A man said that $7,500 was stolen from him in a fraudulent business agreement. He said a person promised to deliver construction material, and the person intentionally deceived him into believing the material would be delivered. The material was never delivered. The case is under investigation.




Wednesday, 11:01 a.m. &

An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Granite Street to pick up a bike that had been cabled to a street sign for more than a month. The bike, a blue Schwinn, Jaguar model, 7 speed is being stored.

A woman said that someone unlawfully entered her locked vehicle and stole her car stereo. Her vehicle was parked on the 100 block of Lincoln Street.




Wednesday, 9:50 a.m. &

Police picked up four bags of wet clothing and one gray duffle back containing miscellaneous property as well as a bicycle left on a park bench on the Lithia Park plaza island. The items were tagged and stored.

Someone reported finding two abandoned bicycles in the berry bushes at 20 Lincoln Street. Bikes were tagged and stored at Ashland Police Department.

A woman said that someone unlawfully entered her vehicle. A CD player was stolen and the center console was damaged. The vehicle was parked on the 600 block of Roca Street.




Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. &

A man said that his vehicle had been egged sometime during the night while parked near his residence in the area of Walker and Oregon Streets.




Wednesday, 7:19 a.m. &

A man said that someone unlawfully entered his unlocked vehicle. Nothing was stolen. It appears that the person attempted to start the vehicle by using a key designed for a standard lock, not an ignition key. The vehicle was parked on the 500 block of Elkader Street.
