A resident of the apartments at Emerick Street reported the presence of a suspicious person walking through the apartment complex. The witness reported that he heard the person possibly trying two or three doorknobs to nearby apartments. The case could be related to the previous reports regarding suspicious activity in the area.

A man's 1994 Toyota Camry was struck by a brown truck with California plates.
Sunday, 8:20 p.m. An individual from the Josephine County Juvenile Department requested that a female juvenile be arrested on a probation violation.

A male juvenile was cited and released for disorderly conduct. The male juvenile was caught throwing water balloons at vehicles travelling on Siskiyou Boulevard and Indiana Street. The case is cleared by arrest.

An adult female reported seeing an adult male striking a child. The case is under investigation.

A man reported that someone stole his red Trek mountain bike. He also stated that the bike lock was damaged.

A woman said that her mailbox had been vandalized on the 500 block of Helman Street.

Officers responded to the report of a disturbance in the 300 block of West Nevada Street. There had been a physical altercation between two parties at the residence. Police spoke with all parties involved and could not determine a primary aggressor. This matter will be forwarded to the district attorney for review.
Sunday, 2:20 a.m. &
Police contacted a visibly intoxicated male on Will Dodge Way who was ejected from the Vinyl Club. The man was unable to care for himself and was transported to the detox center in Medford.
Sunday, 12:30 a.m. &
Officers were dispatched to a loud party in the 400 block of Liberty Street. While standing in the driveway two houses away, police could clearly hear loud conversation and the occasional yelling coming from the house. The noise was also echoing off other houses in the neighborhood. After further investigation, police cited a resident of the address for unnecessary noise and seven people were cited for minor in possession.

A driver was stopped for driving the wrong way on Webster Street near Wightman Street. The driver was not able to provide prof that the vehicle was insured and his Colorado driver's license was revoked through Colorado DMV. He was cited for driving uninsured and driving while revoked and police impounded the vehicle.

Police observed a male adult urinating in public at the intersection of Siskiyou Boulevard and Clay Street. As he was contacted by an officers he ran from the area. He was located and cited and released for offensive littering.

A man was arrested for physical harassment and interfering with a police officer after he pushed an officer and attempted to prevent the officer from entering a residence where the crime of furnishing alcohol to minors was occurring. It was later discovered that the man used his brother's name when identifying himself to officers and the Jackson County jail. He was also charged with providing false information to a police officer. He was lodged at Jackson County jail. Twelve minors were cited for minor in possession of alcohol inside the residence in the 200 block of Sheridon. The renters of the house will be cited at a later date for furnishing alcohol to minors.

A male adult was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself. The male was taken into protective custody and lodged at Detox.

A man was issued a citation for allowing minors to consume alcohol on the premise. Another man was issued a citation for minor in possesion of alcohol.

Police took a report of a runaway juvenile from the 800 block of Siskiyou Boulevard.

SOU campus public safety reported a theft that occurred on March 6 of an iPod that was stored in a dorm room occupied by an SOU conference request.

Officers responded to Market of Choice for a cooperative shoplifter in custody. The juvenile male was cited and released to his father.

Two men were issued citations for allowing minors to consume alcohol on the premise.
Wednesday, 2:20 p.m. &
A man was arrested for harassment and interfering with a police officer after he grabbed a police officer's hand in an attempt to take from him the keys to his vehicle which was being impounded because of a driving while suspended traffic stop. The man was lodged at the Jackson County jail charging harassment and interfering with a police officer. He was also issued citations charging driving while suspended violation and possesion of less than an ounce of marijuana.
