The manager of Pita Pit, reported that someone applied graffiti to the men's bathroom wall. The person used black ink and wrote SURE/DFR.




Thursday, 4 p.m. &

An adult female reported that sometime during the night someone had entered her unlocked car and stole her flash drive and CD case containing about 85 store bought compact discs.




Friday, 12:09 p.m .- A woman reported her ipod was stolen from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot of her apartment complex located on the 700 block of Park Street.




Friday, 1:43 p.m. &

Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at the 1600 block of Clay Street. A man assaulted his girlfriend and menaced her with a knife. He was lodged on charges of menacing, assault IV and harassment.




Friday, 3:54 p.m. &

Police responded to a non-injury motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles. An adult female was cited and released charging failure to obey a traffic control device and driving uninsured.




Saturday, 12:45 a.m. &

While police were in the area of Iowa Street and Garfield Street, two male juveniles were contacted. They where out past curfew hours. The parent of one juvenile came to the scene to pick up their child and officers transported the other juvenile to his home and left him in the custody of his mother.




Saturday, 1:03 p.m. &

A bike was found near Wimer Street. The bike is black unknown brand BMX style bike; the bike has been tagged and stored at Ashland Police Department.




Saturday, 1:15 p.m. &

An adult female reported to SOU security the theft of her ipod from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked in an SOU parking lot near Cox hall.




Saturday, 9:04 p.m. &

A woman reported that sometime during the early afternoon someone had entered her vehicle and stole her ipod and $7 cash, while it was parked on Church Street near High Street.




Saturday, 10:44 p.m. &

Officers responded to the report of a man trespassing in Glacier Hall. When police arrived they spoke with campus security that informed them that this man had been previously trespassed from Glacier Hall. Campus security wished to pursue charges, the man was cited and released on the charge of Criminal trespass II.




Sunday, 2:37 a.m. &

Police responded to the report of vandalism that just occurred near the Greensprings Dorms. When officers arrived there were three adult males standing with Campus Security. One of the men admitted to kicking and breaking a sign, causing about $500 worth of damage. He was cited and released on the charge of Criminal mischief II.




Sunday, 11 a.m. &

A man said that another vehicle collided with his vehicle as it was parked on Granite Street at the intersection with High Street. The driver of the other vehicle did not provide the requisite information and thereby failed to perform the duties of a driver.




Sunday, 1:41 p.m. &

the Ashland police department at the corner of Mountain Avenue and Siskiyou Boulevard found A red and black Raleigh brand mountain bike. The bike will be returned to the owner.




Sunday, 4:32 p.m. &

An adult female said that someone took two pairs of earrings and a jade dragon. She didn't notice that the items had been stolen until several hours after the theft occurred.




Sunday, 6:20 p.m. &

A woman said that a man had trespassed on her property. The man was arrested and lodged at Jackson County Jail.




Monday, 3:11 a.m. &

During a traffic stop with an adult male near the intersection of East Main Street and Sherman Street, police saw a purse in the vehicle. The man said the purse was not his and the owner was not in the car. The man agreed to let the officer take the purse into safekeeping. The purse was logged into Ashland police department found property for the owner to claim.
