A man reported that someone stole his snowboard from the backyard of a residence on the corner of Quincy and Wightman Streets.




Tuesday, 9:56 a.m. &

An adult male reported to the Ashland Police department finding a deceased male in the vicinity of Granite Street and Glenview Street. The case is under investigation.




Tuesday, 1:35 p.m. &

Officers stopped a vehicle for traffic violation. The driver had no valid operator's license. The driver was cited and her vehicle was impounded.




Tuesday, 4:45 p.m. &

A citizen reported that an unknown suspect had burned a hole into the tall tunnel slide at Garfield Park. The parks department has been notified.




Tuesday, 4:53 p.m. &

Police were on the scene when a moving vehicle collision involving a bicyclist and vehicle occurred at the intersection of Lithia Way and 2nd Street. The bicyclist, ran the red light and "T" boned a white camery that was in the intersection. The bicyclist sustained minor injuries and was transported to Ashland Community Hospital. He was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

There was a report of a dog attacking a male at the 1100 block of N. Main Street. The male who was injured was transported to Ashland Community Hospital by ambulance where he was cared for and released. This case will be referred to animal control.




Tuesday, 11:09 p.m. &

Officers responded to the report of a suspicious noise with two males walking away from the area. The two males were located and after further investigation placed under arrest for trespass II for jumping a fence and unlawfully entering into the backyard of someone's home. Both were under the influence of alcohol and under 21. The two were cited and released.




Wednesday, 12:48 a.m. &

Police responded to the report of an intoxicated male who had just been released from the hospital. The male was unable to care for himself and was transported to the Moore Sobering Center where he was released to the care of staff.
