Ashland Fire and rescue inspector reported a possible fire code violation inside the Mobius production studio. Case is under investigation.

A citizen reported a found bicycle at the 100 block of Garfield Street. The woman's red Quest/Elevation bike was placed in storage.




Friday, 10:17 p.m. &

An adult male was arrested on 9 counts of Criminal Mischief II after he was seen breaking windows in vehicles in the area of Meadow Drive. During the subsequent investigation he admitted to breaking into several vehicles in the same area over the last several months. During a consent search of his residence, stolen items including two handguns were recovered. He was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm times 2, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and possession of a burglar tool, theft I, theft II, criminal mischief times 9, and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle times 2. He was also found to have a warrant for fail to pay on the original charge of possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and a warrant for fail to comply on the original charge of theft II. He was lodged at the Jackson County jail.




Saturday, 1:44 a.m. &

While on patrol officers noticed a male juvenile staggering down Hersey Street near Oak Street. Police contacted the juvenile who displayed signs of being under the influence of intoxicants and was out past curfew. He was cited and released to his dad.




Saturday, 1:22 p.m. &

A non-injury moving vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of E. Main and Gresham. A man was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.




Saturday, 1:23 p.m. &

Police viewed graffiti on the railroad overpass at the corner of Water Street and Van Ness Avenue.




Saturday, 6:05 p.m. &

Officers were dispatched to a moving vehicle collision. After further investigation the driver of a black ford explorer and a black Acura were cited for following too close.
