The Hamazons, the Rogue Valley's "Warrior Princesses of Comedy," will present "Westward HO-HA!" an evening of cowgirl improvisation on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 8 p.m., at the Ashland Community Center, 59 Winburn Way.

This entertainment is entirely created on the spot, with help from audience suggestion. The entire evening will be performed in movie western style, in Western garb.

The Hamazon's creed of no swearing, no violence, and no degradation of human or beast, helps ensure a good time for all.

The Hamazons will also offer an improvisation workshop from — to 3:30 p.m. The workshop provides a supporting and comfortable environment suitable both for people who have never been in front of an audience before, and those who have had some experience. All levels are welcome.

This workshop teaches how to free up that talent and, if you wish, take it to the stage. Participants can choose to be part of the Hamazon show "Western HO-HA!" the very same night. Cost for the workshop is $50 and includes a free ticket to the show.

To Register for the workshop call 776-0643. Tickets for the performance are available at Heart Hands, 255 E. Main St. in Ashland. and Bad Ass Coffee 143 S. Riverside in Medford. Visit to learn more about the group.
