A woman found her mailbox broken off the wooden post. She also believes her mail has been tampered with.




Monday, 4:26 p.m. &

A woman reported that a new set of Dewalt tools in a case had been stolen from the inside of her business, Global Pantry. No forced entry.




Monday, 4:48 p.m. &

An adult female reported that her vehicle's rear passenger window had been smashed. A sony portable DVD/CD player was stolen from inside the vehicle.




Monday, 11:04 p.m. &

A man reported that his vehicle had been involved in a hit and run while parked on Chestnut Street near Wimer Street.




Tuesday, 5:44 a.m. &

Police responded to the report of a broken window at 115 East Main Street. Officers contacted he business owners who responded to the store. They reported that between 7 p.m. and 5:44 a.m. someone threw a rock through the front window of the business and took several items from the window display. The owners will be contacting Ashland Police with a full list of items stolen and serial numbers for them.




Tuesday, 10:36 a.m. &

Officers responded to the 300 block of Meadow Drive for an attempted burglary to a residence. The resident reported that someone attempted to gain entry to the front door by prying on the lock. Damage to the lock/door jam estimated at $50.




Tuesday, 11 a.m. &

An employee of the Ashland Elks Lodge reported to Ashland Police that a handgun had been found in the men's room. The gun will be returned to the owner.




Tuesday, 11:26 a.m. &

A man was arrested for Theft III after he left the Market of Choice with items in his possession that he had no intention of paying for. He was cited and released.




Tuesday, 6:04 p.m. &

A woman was arrested for shoplifting at Market of Choice. She was issued a citation for theft II and released.




Tuesday, 11:25 p.m. &

A woman reported that someone had broken out her driver's side rear window and stole less than five dollars worth of items. The woman's black Toyota Corolla was parked on the 200 block of East Main Street.




Tuesday, 9:51 p.m. &

A man requested that a citation be issued on his behalf for the municipal code violation of Reckless Driving against another driver.




Wednesday, 5:20 a.m. &

An unknown person stole a truck from the 100 block of Seventh Street and then crashed the truck a couple of blocks away at the 80 block of Emerick Street. The truck was returned to the owner. This case is under investigation.
