Anansi the Spider: The Storytelling Guild and Craterian Performances will present performances of "Anansi the Spider" by Tears of Joy Puppet Theatre of Portland at 1:30 and 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13, at the Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater, 23 S. Central Ave., Medford. This is a show for all ages. Admission is a donation of a new or gently used children's book to benefit local outreach programs. Doors open for general seating one-half hour prior to each performance.

162;7 Project: ArtWork Enterprises, the organization that sponsors the 10-Minute Play Festival and the Ashland New Plays Festival, will present its second annual event in which seven plays written, directed, musically scored and staged at 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater, 23 S. trillium ensemble: The Southern Oregon University Department of Music will present Trillium Ensemble at 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, in the SOU Music Recital Hall, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland. The Trillium Ensemble consists of Rhett Bender, clarinet and saxophone; Jody Schmidt, horn; and Alexander Tutunov, piano. Tickets are $12 for general admission. rv blues festival: St. Clair Productions will present the Eighth Annual Rogue Valley Blues Festival, an all-ages family event, Friday Jan. 18 through Sunday, Jan. 20, at the Historic Ashland Armory, 208 Oak St., Ashland.
