Ashland Police reports














Saturday 12:05 a.m. &

Two males and one female were cited for furnishing alcohol to minors. Eight people including one juvenile were cited for minor in possession of alcohol.




Saturday, 4:19 a.m. &

Officers discovered a bus stop located in front of 600 Siskiyou Boulevard had been damaged. One large glass panel had been shattered.




Saturday, 11:00 a.m. &

— slats of fencing belonging to a resident on the 500 block of "C" Street were broken. The fencing was damaged beyond repair.




Saturday, 9:00 a.m. &

The safety glass out of the side door at Maizey's was broken. The side door is located in Will Dodge Way.




Saturday, 1:34 p.m. &

A vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. The man's driving privileges were found to have been suspended. He was cited and his vehicle was impounded.




Saturday, 2 p.m. &

A silver Moped was stolen from an unlocked vestibule. The vehicle had no keys.




Saturday, 2:34 p.m. &

A man was arrested and released for theft of services. He had plugged an electrical cord into the public library so that he could use his laptop. He was parked there for three days.




Saturday, 7:54 p.m. &

Police responded to the report of a domestic disturbance at the 300 block of Kent Street. Officers spoke with all involved parties and discovered that there was no domestic assault. A male was taken into protective custody and transported to a friend's house where he was released to a sober adult.




Saturday, 10:42 p.m. &

An adult male was near the intersection of North Main Street and Manzanita Street. The male was viewed stumbling down the sidewalk. He was in a very intoxicated state and was unable to care for himself. He was transported to the detox facility in Medford.




Monday, 10:56 p.m. &

A juvenile woman was arrested after she attempted to use another person's Oregon driver license to enter the Kat Wok. She was cited and released.




Monday, 12:25 a.m. &

Police observed a driver near the intersection of Oak Street and "B" Street driving without his headlights on. He had also parked the vehicle on Oak Street blocking the driveway to a private residence. The man showed signs of alcohol intoxication and refused to submit to standardized field sobriety tests. He also refused to submit to a breath test under implied consent. Police cited him for DUII &

alcohol, refuse breath test and failure to use lights and released him to a sober adult.




Monday, 12:40 a.m. &

Police responded to a report of suspicious noises coming from an apartment on the 200 block of Tolman Creek Road. After investigation, officers found that the noises had occurred as part of a burglary. Entry was forced through the front door and it is unknown at this time if any possessions were taken.




Monday, 4:05 a.m. &

Officers contacted an intoxicated male at the corner of Church Street and North Main Street. The male was staggering on the sidewalk and stumbled into the street as officers passed him. While talking with the male, police smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. The male was unable to care for himself and posed a danger to traffic. Police transported the male to the Detox Center in Medford.




Monday, 4:56 a.m. &

Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Pine Street for a stolen vehicle report. A woman reported her 2002 red Kia Sportage was stolen from in front of her house sometime during the night. The car was unlocked and the keys were sitting on the front seat.
