A man reported that an unknown subject had attempted to steal his watch, wallet, and cell phone by force in front of Papa Murphy's. Under Investigation.

A woman ws cited and released for Child Neglect II. She had left her 6 year old child home alone.
Friday, 7:26pm &
Police responded to a report of theft at Blockbuster Video. The manager informed police that between 8:00am and 7:26pm on Friday 10/19, unknown subjects had stolen $374.89 worht of Xbox 360 games from the store.
Friday, 11:30pm &
An unknow suspect attempted to gain entry into the Subway Restaurant through the front door by using a butter knife. Entry was not made and the butter knife was left behind.

A man was cited and released for shoplifting an Odwalla Superfood drink and Odwalla bar from Market of Choice.

A woman reported that a Moving Vehicle Collision had occurred on 8th Street in front of her house involving her car. Apparently Vehicle — had rolled (probably due to failed emergency brake) into Vehicle 2 causing front end damage to both. (Neither vehicle was occupied).

A known subject brought a .22 caliber firearm to the Ashland Police Department, that she had taken from a suicidal friend in Medford. The firearm was logged into evidence and a welfare check eas requested for the suicidal subject. A copy of the report will be sent to Medford Police Department.

A juvenile was cited at the SOU Britt Hall for minor in possession of alcohol. The juvenile had an odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath and she admitted to drinking rum prior to attending the Ashland High School Home Coming dance. She was cited and released to her father.

A woman was cited and released for Misrepresentation of Age by a Minor, after she used a false Texas Identification Card to enter the Kat Wok.

Police responded to a report of a fight in progress on E. Main St near Pioneer St. A large crowd of people were gathered near the intersection of E. Main St and Pioneer St. A subject later identified as the victim, approached police and pointed out a subject that struck him in the face with a closed fist, without provocations. Several witnesses came forward to identify the aggressor as the same subject the victim identified. Victim declined to pursue a criminal charge of Assult IV. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with Disorderly Conduct. He was also found to be in violation of his probation. His P.O. was contacted and a detainer was authorized. The suspect was transported and lodged in the Jackson County Jail.

A woman was stopped for committing an illegal U-turn. She was found to be driving with a suspended license and uninsured. She was cited for all three violations and her driver's license was confiscated. The vehicle was towed by Ashland Towing.

Police responded to a report of Vandalism at 485 East Main St. An uknown subject broked a window on the back side of the business between the hours of 3:30pm n Saturday and 3:15pm on Sunday.

A woman on Scenic Drive reported that an unknown subject(s) had smashed the drivers side rear view mirror with an uknown object on her Toyota Prius. The woman stated that the vehicle had been fine when she parked it on Friday at 10:30pm, but that when she saw it at 5:45pm on Sunday the mirror was destroyed.

Police responded to a call regarding subjects with open containers between Oak St and 1st St. Three subjects matching the description were contacted. Police found one of the individuals had a valid warrant for his arrest for failure to appear &
possession of liquor by a minor. He was arrested and lodged at Jackson County Jail.

A woman drove her vehicle onto the curb in fron of 42 N. Main St, lodging the vehicle between a tree and the front of a business at that address. The woman then walked away from the scene making no attempt to contact the owner of the property or emergency services. Another officer located the woman on Lithia Way near Pioneer St. The woman who appeared to be very intoxicated, complained of an injury to her shoulder. Paramedics arrived and transported her to Ashland Community Hospital. She consented to a DMV implied Consent blood draw. She was then cited and released on charges of DUII &
alcohol, Reckless Driving and Fail to Perform Duties of a Driver &
property (hit run). The woman was treated and released at ACH.
