If you love Broadway musicals and would like to spend an evening hearing 19 songs from the Great White Way, Craterian Performances invites you to see "Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway."

The touring show will take the stage at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater, 23 S. Central Ave., Medford. Composer-producer-performer Neil Berg has put together an evening of Broadway singers re-creating pivotal musical moments from classics like "South Pacific" to current hits like "Wicked."

Berg directed "The Broadway Series" at New York City's China Club in which he recruited Broadway stars to sing show tunes in intimate, informal concerts. The shows were so successful Berg decided to take them on the road. Thus was born "Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway" which has toured nationally and internationally.

The cast that will perform at the Craterian includes: Carter Calvert, Rob Evan, Rita Harvey, Ray McLeod and Danny Zolli. Berg will provide accompaniment to such songs as "And All That Jazz," from "Chicago"; "Cabaret," from "Cabaret"; "Impossible Dream," from "Man of La Mancha"; "Buenos Aires/Don't Cry for Me Argentina," from "Evita"; and "A Boy Like That," from "West Side Story."

Composer/lyricist Berg is the composer/lyricist of the Off-Broadway musical "The Prince and the Pauper" and composer for the new Broadway musical "Grumpy Old Men" based on the contemporary movie classic. He is also producing the new concert version of "The Mystery of Edwin Drood" with Rupert Holmes.

Berg has produced more than a thousand Broadway concerts across the world with such stars as Michael Crawford, Rita Moreno, Bernadette Peters, Ben Vereen, Betty Buckley, Donna McKechnie, Liz Callaway, Eden Espinosa and many others.
