The 2007 Britt classical season continues through Aug. 19. Concerts begin at 8 p.m.




The following performances remain:




Friday, Aug. 17 In "Among Friends," Britt Concert master Ignace Jang and principal cellist Naomi Barron will join the Britt Orchestra in celebrating "The Circle of Brahms" by presenting his Double Concerto Concerto for Violin and Cello. In addition, the program will feature works by two of Brahms' closest friends, Joseph Joachim and Robert Schumann. There will be a pre-concert talk at 7 p.m. by Don Matthews.




Sunday, Aug. 19, will mark the closing of the classical season. Violinist Sarah Chang will perform Sibelius' "Violin Concerto." The program showcases the Britt Orchestra in performances of Sibelius' "Valse Triste" and Maurice Ravel's "Rapsodie espagnole," "Pavane pour une infante defunte," and "La Valse."




There will be a pre-concert talk at 7 p.m. by Ilana Rubenfeld.




Tickets are $24 to $42 for adults and $14 for children.
