A festive exploration of the sensory experience of wine &

a true demonstration of science and art &

will be presented from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at ScienceWorks Hands-on Museum, 1500 E. Main St., Ashland.




The museum's annual fundraising event will offer interactive indoor and outdoor exhibits, food and wine tastings and discussions with winemakers and restaurateurs, along with live music by Bohemia Soul and Charley Pagani and Friends.




More than 30 regional wineries and restaurants will take part in the event. Wines from Abacela Vineyards, Del Rio Vineyards, EdenVale Estate, Foris Vineyards, Griffin Creek and Paschal wineries, to name a few, will be presented. The wines will be paired with food from restaurants such as 38 on Central, Allyson's of Ashland, Beasy's on the Creek, Caf&

233; Dejeuner, Rising Sun Farms, chocolatiers Dagoba and Lillie Belle Farms and others.




New to the event this year is a live auction with items such as tropical getaways, fly fishing trips and race car driving the block.
