Ashland High School held off a final drive by the Japan All-Star team Friday night to win 31-23 in the 14th game in the series which began in 1988. Ashland has now won 8 and lost 6 games — but, as the motto of the event goes, the week-long cultural exchange is "More than a Game." Japanese players left for home Sunday. Ashland players will travel to Japan for the next game in 2017. Photos by Larry Stauth Jr.
